Scope of work: Original Base bid for work in Multiple areas in this school shall include , full containment, removal of chalkboards and associated mastic, removal of9x9 VAT and mastic via grind, carpet, linoleum, and non-asbestos carpet glue.
Prepare and clean floors ready to receive new flooring whether it is VCT, luxury vinyl tile or carpet squares. Absolutely No encapsulant is to be used on the concrete floor.
All floor tile/ mastic via grinding shall include a full containment (double layer 6mil polyethene) three stage decontamination area with functioning hot & cold-water shower along with a grey water filter. Single layer 6mil polyethene can be used on all non-friable containments. Absolutely no encapsulant is to be used on the concrete floor due to the installation of new floor coverings.

A Mandatory Prebid Conference will be held for prospective bidders at 3:00 PM local time Thursday, December 19, 2024 at the Pine Grove High School Library – Door H28, 101 School St, Pine Grove, PA 179639. The Architect will provide not-to-scale 11” x 17” drawings for the bidders use at the mandatory pre-bid conference.
