Nycomed, Inc., a pharmaceutical company with facilities in Melville and Hicksville, New York, required an expansion of their Melville laboratory facilities to address business growth. Following completion of EI Associates’ conceptual laboratory expansion study, it was decided to convert the existing tablet manufacturing, packaging and warehouse spaces into new laboratory facilities. The 10,000 sq. ft. renovated warehouse space was designed to accommodate the following program areas:
- Wet Chemistry Lab
- Electronics Lab
- Methods Development Lab
- Methods Development Office Area
- Microbiology Lab
