EI Associates, a long time architect for Shippensburg University, was hired to design renovations to Shippensburg University’s Heiges Field House, the athletic facility on campus. The renovations included new wall, ceiling, and floor finishes as well as alterations to the toilet facilities, and modifications for ADA compliance. The space was reorganized and the interior alterations were completed by adding partition walls to create office and conference areas. A new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system was integrated into the space. Wireless internet access as well as new electrical outlets and wiring were provided. Acoustical treatment and new sound system enhancements provide the athletes with a fresh contemporary space. A new exterior entrance allowed direct access as well as upgrades to the internal connection to other spaces in the Field House.
